Getting Better!

Well, WHG has been one sick little man. Last week he got RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) which in turn led to pneumonia. Tuesday afternoon, William decided he did not want to eat or drink that much, so Wednesday am we headed to the Dr.'s office. After a chest x-ray and still no eating/drinking, we were admitted to the hospital and stayed there until Friday. Over the weekend, William started eating and drinking just a little bit more day by day. Yesterday and today he has been in a wonderful mood and is almost back to his normal eating habits. We had another chest x-ray today and the pneumonia is clearing up.
We are keeping William at home atleast this week to be sure that we are ALL better before heading back to school. I really don't want to wish away time, but then again I am so ready to say hello to warm weather and goodbye to cold season!!!

Just a sweet pic of William from a couple of weeks ago.

January and I am already playing catch up!

We had a wonderful first Christmas with William. Sharing Christmas with William was so much fun and just renewed the magic of Christmas for Hunter and I. Here are a couple of pictures of our Christmas and New Year.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Morning: "uhm...ya'll know my feet don't quite touch the ground."

William and Winston in William's new wagon from Nanny, Pop and Aunt Kat

New Year's Eve: Britt, Parker, Emory, William, Sawyer and Grover

William, Sawyer and Grover were all awake at about 11:15 but the sand man caught up quickly...

My resolution for the new year should be to stay current with my blog posts, get organized and to quit procrastinating. However, my resolution is to see to it that this little man laughs every day of the year!
